In my continuing discussions on the explosion in the public mind on AI Chat, more specifically ChatGPT, it seems we have already jumped a generation (it has been three months, after all). This next leap in AI chat is called generative AI, a branch of artificial intelligence that can create new content or data from existing data, such as text, images, audio or video. Generative AI can be used for various purposes, such as enhancing creativity, generating realistic simulations, augmenting data sets and improving data quality.
